“Beautiful b&b!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

My boyfriend and I stayed here a few weeks ago as we were visiting the pro drive race track near by (about 10-15min drive). we wasn't due to be at the venue until late afternoon and wanted to stay somewhere that offered things to do during the day as the checkout time here is 10.30am.
As the other reviews say, it's spotlessly clean, large room with large en suite, great parking (even let us leave the car parked at the b&b after we checked out while went for a stroll around the town) extremely helpful host, fantastic location with lots of shops and restaurants on the door step. I would recommend this b&b to anyone and would definitely book here again if ever in the
area.
One slight down side was that the ceiling was very low in some places of our room and bathroom which made showering difficult for my boyfriend who is over 6ft. That shouldn't reflect badly on this b&b though as we find this problem most places we stay. It could be due to the fact we were staying on the 3rd floor ( what seemed like attic conversion rooms) If you are tall, it may be worth requesting a room on a lower floor.

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful guest house so he could drive at the pro-drive circuit.
A lovely building close to shops and restaurants, but not noisy. Has good parking. The room was spotless and comfortable with a good sized en-suite.
Breakfast was delicious. Eric and Jane were good hosts.

We stayed her just for one night en route home from a trip away. What can I say - the other good reviews are spot on. A very decent guest house, welcoming and reasonable. The room was very clean and comfortable if a little small (although the bathroom was a decent size). Just as a warning the lodge is on a very busy road with a bus stop right outside so can be a little noisy although the double glazing stops most of it.

Good breakfast, cheap drinks. Nice little sitting area if fancy a read with a glass of vino.

Not the kind of place I would choose to stay for a week (and Kenilworth is not madly exciting), but comfortable, welcoming and reasonable for the odd night, especially if you're planning a trip to the NEC. Would be happy to stop again.

Travelling on my own was made to feel very welcome - given a map with directions to restaurant where I was meeting some friends for lunch. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice little balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Would stay again!

My son and I stayed over for one night in a twin room costing £75.00. Victoria Lodge is easy to find in the small town of Kenilworth. We bagged a parking space on the forecourt, were greeted warmly on entry, and shown to our room. The room was lovely, spotless and comfortable with a large en-suite shower room. I honestly have not slept so well in ages, the bed was so comfortable. We had breakfast in the cosy dining room, with friendly attentive service from our hostess. The breakfast itself was ok, especially considering the price of the room. Fruit, yoghurts and cereal were on offer, followed by cooked to order hot food and toast, plus fruit juice and tea/coffee.
Should we need to stay in this area again, we would be only too happy to book in to Victoria Lodge.

I stayed 2 nights whilst working locally and found Jane and her husband very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Clean and tidy place, room was a little dated in decor for my taste but overall a nice place.
Breakfast was great as well.

Will use again if I am in the area.

Friendly, warm, relaxed and efficiently run guesthouse. Spotless, well decorated room, everything working, well prepared breakfast. Helpful advice ... the sort of place I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
