Living in Kenilworth, we call in here on occasions for a cup of tea (with cake of course), afternoon tea or for lunch.
Our last visit here in late March was for Sunday lunch after a walk in the snow around the Castle and Millenium Trail (freezing). We were going to have just a sandwich but it looked so good, we decided on a full roast beef lunch - excellent.
At busy times, it's worth booking a table, which is done with no hassle. Whilst cosy, Time for Tea welcome families and the place is deceptively large.
In summary, if you are visiting Kenilworth (or the castle which can be seen from the front door) and need a bite to eat, or a good cup of tea, then this is the place for you. Enjoy.

Great service, nice honest food, reasonably priced in pleasant surroundings. The young owners work hard and deserve to do well. We are becoming regulars

Jacket potatoes, toasted sandwiches and home made cakes- just what you want from a tea shop. My friend had the special - hot beef and onion baguette - and it disappeared very quickly. I asked for a sand which filling- bacon and Brie on a jacket potato and they were happy to oblige . Tea and coffee very good- and great to have the choice of a decaf cappuccino . Regular coffee us refilled free .
Not our first visit- wont be the last. Really good after a cold stroll through the park!

The extremely well cooked generous breakfast was the perfect start to a birthday day out ! It was really good value and there was something for everyone on the menu.

This places reminds me of the many old fashioned tea shops I used to visit as a child. As with most places that come highly recommended they often are hard to live up to expectations and aren't for everyone, this place was not really for me. Saying that however there was little to complain about the service was good and the food was fine. The menu is quite varied and large, however there is not much which stands out. Take this place as a quaint tea shop and you won't go far wrong.
