“Excellent Hotel”

We stayed in the hotel for 3 night and from booking the rooms until checking out we were met with excellent service from the front desk to the restaurant staff. My room was very spacious with a great bed very clean and off very high standard. Breakfast and dinner was also very good and the staff were excellent. Highly recommended

The hotel itself is very clean, has a lot of orignial period features and actually is very modern and well maintained. The restaurant provides great value meals.

The customer service is also very good, all the staff I came accross throughout my short stay (2 days, one night) were very pleasant and helpful. I asked for an iron and this was sent to my room within 5 minutes by room service with an ironing board. Usually in some other hotels, a small deposit is required for the use of the iron if this is not provided with the room, however this was not the case and it was sent without any fuss.

The only negative comment is the bathroom!!! The bathroom had a very bad smell and as much as I tried to leave the extractor fan on to get rid of the smell it would not go away - I later found that the shower curtain also smelt very bad; the bathroom was kept clean enough but i feel this could be done to a much better standard as this was the main thing which let the hotel down.

The walls are not very sound proof, but then again I have not stayed at many hotels in whihc the walls are very soundproof...room comfort is good and the temprature was set right so very cosy!

Overall would probably use this hotel again if i was in the area again, but may look around to see if I can get better value for money - the bar is not cheap to say the least!

A good place to stay when on business.

We had a problem when checking in, which I must say was not the fault of the hotel but the very nice staff on reception sorted it out for us anyway :-)

The hotel was quite full but only three tables taken at dinner, which was not a problem but lacked atmosphere as everyone else seemed to be at functions, so we felt a bit left out! Dinner was very nice so was breakfast, good choice, nicely cooked. Lovely staff.

Most of our party had a bad nights sleep due to a hard bed and being too hot, although fan was provided. I have stayed here before and had a superior room which had a comfy bed and aircon, after staying in both room types, the superior is worth the extra cost.

Room Tip: Ask for a superior room, comfier beds and aircon.

Just returned from weekend trip through Travelzoo. The trip included tickets to Warwick Castle. Cannot fault anything about the experience at all. The reception team were all very helpful and professional as were the staff in the restaurant. Only criticism was the main course was overly salted but this is just our personal preference. Plenty of choice for breakfast catering for everybody. Plenty of very comfortable seating in the lounge areas. The room was lovely and the beds were very very comfortable. Ample tea and coffee and no problem getting extra milk if needed. Also a bottle of wine was included in our package which was very nice. Would recommend highly to friends and family.

We booked 3 nights at this hotel, at the last minute, due to my error on an earlier booking at a hotel in Leaminton Spa.
I booked via Trip adviser and Expedia but found on arrival I could have got a cheaper deal direct through the hotel web site.
We were received in an efficient and friendly manner although there was some question as to payment for the room, resolved on checkout.
We found the (standard) room to be small but clean and well presented.
For some reason on the first morning the dining room were unable to cope with the number of people wanting breakfast, after that there were no problems.
Overall a very nice country house type hotel, although now hugely expanded from its original size, in open country and gardens.

Chesford Grange is in a fantastic location and is set in 17 acres of grounds that roll down to the River Avon we are also ideally placed for visiting Warwick Castle and Historic Stratford on Avon.

I do hope you find an offer that will tempt you back to QHotels in the not too distant future.

Stayed Friday and Saturday night for a leisure break. Friendly greeting at reception, no waiting on check in or check out. Room decorated to a high standard, nice soaps etc in bathroom. Room temperature perfect, bed incredibly comfortable, and had two fantastic nights sleep. Shower was first class. Breakfast in the morning was very good, though the waitress got our order wrong on second morning, bringing normal coffee for two instead of decaf coffee and a tea. Easily fixed.
Only minor faults were:
- had to clean sink and surrounding area on arrival due to hairs in sink and a stain on surface.
- could hear noise from neighbouring rooms, but not unusual in hotels these days
- the rooms have a 'feature' clock which ticks, and you can't switch it off. Whoever thought that was a good idea is a muppet.

Lovely Star rooms, spacious, very clean, ours was very quiet.
Staff very welcoming and attentive - especially the waiter from Kerala.
The dinner menu on our first night was not 'fishy' enough for us personally - no problem, the Portugese waiter conversed with the chef and, immediately a choice of two further fish dishes was offered and were delicious.
A couple of personal touches would be welcome at breakfast time e.g. better quality condiments and tea. Also it would have been nice to have someone frying eggs to order, although poached eggs to order posed no problem.
Advisable to book spa treatments in advance as hardly any slots available on arrival.
Lovely grounds, walks down to the river
Not cheap but would stay again

Room Tip: Our rooms at the back were very quiet indeed
