“Great food, if you like fish.”
Reviewed December 21, 2012 via mobile

Which I do fortunately. Three of us visited on a very busy evening this week have booked a week ahead otherwise we would not have got a table. The service was a little slow but it did not matter as we were in a very relaxed mood and happy to be left to chat etc. The food was up to its normal high standard, I started with the moule marinierre followed by the bream. It was excellent and my colleagues agreed. Highly recommended if you are in this delightful part of. Kenilworth

“Food good, but not great”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

I've been to Loch Fyne in Kenilworth on many occasions. Generally the food has been very good, but if you are used to top quality fish restaurants, this may seem a little under par. Saying that, the oysters are fabulous. I have also noticed discrepancies on the bill on about 4 occasions when eating from the set menu that included a glass of wine. Once, you can forgive, but it happened again and again, always corrected with an apology, but irritating nonetheless. Set in the old part of Kenilworth, parking is limited to the front, but there is plenty on Abbey Fields car park, and only a couple of minutes walk away.

“Excellent service, good food and a nice atmosphere”
Reviewed December 8, 2012 via mobile

Had a belated anniversary meal here with my wife . We had never eaten at a loch fyne restaurant before and was pleasantly surprised by the open plan layout and menu variety, tried the oysters in various guises and had the lobster and the additional seafood variety which included. Langoustine . Scallops and mussels . I have eaten Lobster widely and although this was not the best it was close to! Moist and tender ! The pudding selection was good and we enjoyed cranacken and a cheese plate! Coffees were also good! We had excellent service and explanations of the Menu from Patrice our waiter and although not cheap we felt it was good value for money, we will come again!

“Nice treat”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

We went to this restaurant as a preferred out of town meal when staying in Coventry and was able to book our time slot online . The location is a nice small town . Parking can be found only 50yds away at abbey fields. We had also been to the real Loch Fyne so curious about the chain.
The decor and atmosphere is nice and the staff very pleasant.
It is essentially a seafood restaurant but steaks etc are available and also some fish caught at Loch Fyne area.
My husband had a very tasty Fish and Chips I had the bream and scallop special which was well cooked although the tomato side overpowered the subtle flavour of the bream. I forgot to ask for veg side and , mainly because the waitress didn't ask or point out there was none with dish , but apart from that I can't fault it.
Will go to one of these chains again .
