“Expensive for what it offers”

The food was OK, and the service friendly. But it was pricey for a very basic pizza and pasta operation (with a few other dishes on the menu).

“What a disappointment”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

As a party of 12, we were booked in at 8.30pm for a celebration meal on a weekend visit to Newcastle. The restaurant had been carefully screened by our hosts on a previous visit to the city as they wanted everything to be perfect. It was an awful disappointment for them and us. We waited almost 2 hours for our main course, no apology from the management, no reason for the delay given. We were on the point of leaving when we were ushered back to the table as our meals had arrived (where else could we have got meals at that time on a busy Saturday night?). Needless to say, by this time our appetites had gone and the meals were nothing special, in fact side orders did not arrive but by then we had got past caring. Everyone felt very let down by the experience and the ensuing confrontation with the manager when at last he did appear was upsetting.

“Lovely food at reasonable price”

This restaurant provides excellent service and food. The interior is lovely and they managed to set up,a table for 11 without a reservation, straight away. The Lasagne is to die for!

“Nice place to eat!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2014

Service is a little formal for the restaurant, however we always enjoy large delicious portions of fab Italian cooking while we're here. The building is so skinny but is generous in size inside. Coffee is always good, as are the deserts. I often find the seafood is always really good too. Not overpriced, good value for money.
