“Good for a party”
Reviewed June 22, 2013 via mobile

Not a bad place, but not exactly great either. Table was almost 45 minutes late and the bar area to wait in was so busy you could have a drink never mind speak to anyone in the group.

Once seated the food was good but salty for my taste, and the drinks are fairly expensive. The staff are very quick to ask if you'd like a other drink as soon as you finish though.

I'd visit again but as a group and make sure I wasn't ravenous and I'd probably have an extra glass of wine before arriving.

Highlight of the evening was an inexperienced chef hitting a lady with an egg (just on the foot). And swiftly following it up by getting her husband in the groin.

“brilliant - watch the egg toss though!!”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

this was simply the best food i have ever had in a restaurant.
the menu was vast and deep with plenty of choice.
the chef was funny
the food cooking was a great experience, well proportioned and not too filling.
the egg toss was hilarious my girlfriend got another punter in the face with it...
the swordfish steak is recommended
reasonably priced and popular with football players and the like.

“Good Teppanyanki Restaurant great food”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

I Had tepanyanki food in various countries but this was one of the good place I admired. We had Team Dinner and they served drinks near Bar till we had a Table. On reaching the table it is not as impressive as most and possibly needs updating a little bit and quicker service. The show put by the cook was great with catching the egg in his hat, the chefs are lovely and did try their best to include everyone. Food was great I had and Lobster, Teriyaki Chicken and Egg fried Rice and was reasonable in terms of price. I would go here often. This place is also visited by celebrities and football players.

“Great value Lunch, great food”
Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

I have eaten tepan-Yaki meals in many establishments both home and abroad and found this establishment very satisfying and good value. The meet and greet was very friendly and the service was quick. The 3 course lunch was £15.00 for 3 courses but the main courses included chicken, king prawns, steak and fresh salmon. Couldn't fault the food or service.
Food was first class with typical Tepan-Yaki chef antics.
If i had to find a negative, it would be that the decor seems a little tired but still very acceptable.
The photo mood board on display clearly shows many celebs have endorsed this restaurant.
Will certainly return one day soon to try out the evening menu.

“Food good atmosphere not as good as others”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Having eaten at a few tapanyaki places in Manchester and London I was looking forward to this.

Went on a Saturday night with a partner and the place was rammed, you are shoved into a very small bar area, or holding pen, until you are shouted.

On reaching the table it is not as impressive as most and possibly needs updating a little bit. The show put on isn't on a par with most, but chefs are lovely and try their best to include everyone. Food was sublime and was reasonable in terms of price.

All in all a good night but would only go back on a quiet evening!!
