Went on a Thursday night struggled to get a table, but it was worth the effort, never disappoints ,since the brothers moved up from the king Neptune, they have excelled in creating a nice ambience, modern surroundings and, most importantly some of the best Chinese food in the north

Good & tasty food. Pleasant and helpful staff in an atmosphere which was Oriental with a good dollop of westernisation.

A very pleasant place to dine in Newcastle

Eight of us went to Landmark on a night out with work colleagues during the mid-week and the restaurant was surprisingly full.

A little put off by the large TV's around the restaurant showing European football we decided on a set menu. As with most other reviews the service was pretty fast but the food average at best; the chicken & sweetcorn soup was tasty but made with cubes of processed chicken, the duck for the pancakes was quite dry, the butterfly'd king prawn in a sticky sauce was delicious but still with the shell on so not the easiest to eat. The selection of main courses was pretty good and overall they were of a decent standard.

Would I recommend Landmark or go again; probably not, I'd try somewhere else first.

Located in the town side of ChinaTown on Newcastle, the meal and service were perfectly fine but somehow missed the "wow" factor. Good company of friends and an enjoyable night was had but overall the restaurant was just "average/OK".

I took visitors here and we enjoyed the meal but it wasn't as special as I had hoped. The service was not particularly attentive but the food was good.
