“Nice Chinese Restaurant.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2013 via mobile

Visited on a mid-week lunch time so was therefore very quiet. Good service, prompt and efficient without being in your face. The food isn't particularly cheap however you get what you pay for. Very nice selection of starters. The duck was decent and the steamed dumplings were very good. The mains of steamed Sea Bass and Belly Pork were delicious. Had a mixture of rice and noodles and couldn't finish it all due to the generous portions. Overall a good restaurant. Would visit again on an evening when more of an atmosphere.

“Best Chinese in Newcastle ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

Went to Hei Hei in early October and have been about 5/6 times over the years. Food is always superb and service is top notch. Not the cheapest place to eat, but when you have an almost cast iron guarantee that it'll be good quality I can live with it.

“So so and pretty expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2013

Took my teenage daughter, she had chow mein which was pretty dry and tasteless. I had a sea food dish which was okay but greasy. Mind you - the place was heaving!
