We had a living social voucher for BarLuga (2 course meal for 2) and although I was disappointed I couldn’t get booked up for the dates I wanted originally we opted to go on Sunday 25th August 2013. We booked the table in the upstairs area out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the main bar. On arrival we were shown to our table and the staff were very friendly and attended to our needs without being over the top.
We opted for starters of Scotch Egg & Tempura Prawns & mains of Bar Luga Burger and the Pork Medallions. The food was absolutely beautiful and the portion sizes very generous. Our meal was complimented by a glass of Prosecco (part of the voucher deal) so overall very impressed and no complaints about anything. I asked for some bread to go with our starters and we were provided with this at no charge (very unusual).
This is the first time I have had food here as I have always thought it was slightly on the expensive side but now I have been I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Well worth the money although I wouldn’t necessarily want to sit in the main bar area to eat.
