Best Italian I've ever eaten at - all the usual choices that you would expect, plus some less typical options. Food is always great and service efficient and friendly. Great for a relaxed meal out.

So...after a cold shower in hotel (subject of other review) we went to this excellent Sardinian restaurant. Booked in advance just in case. Friendly welcoming little corner restaurant in a terraced street. Well worth finding. Three course meal for 4 with bottle of wine for £99 - excellent value.

Home cooked Italian meals are always worth seeking out wherever you go and this restaurant proved the point. Great starters - salmon and bruschetta both excellent. Pasta great and sauces not too heavy. I had Swordfish and it was excellently done. They ask you how much heat you'd like in your sauce and customise it to taste - now that is service.

The Jesmond area is where the best little restaurants are but I'd seek this out again. Good wine list - not too extensive but paired with food it's well thought through. Relaxing atmosphere - just right for teenage son not wanting a stressful atmosphere. Just right for any occasion where you want good food and great service.

Had lunch this week with a pal.
Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Food 'justa lika Mama usta make!
A very elegant couple were sat a the table next to us and my friend thought he recognised him.
It was not until they got up to leave, we realised it was Sir Roger Moore and his wife.
007 has good taste,
Will be going again soon.
