Went here for with a groupon deal and wasn't sure what to expect. It's small compared to a lot of buffets but has pretty much everything the larger ones have but in a cosier setting.
The food tasted great but I do agree with some of the other reviews that they could do with less oil as a lot of them had separated and didn't look all that appetising. Some of the dishes also lacked a lot of meat in them but this could have been other customers taking a lot of it. They replenished the dishes often and they were quite often fresh out and really hot. Even the older ones still had a good temperature.
Staff were really nice and friendly and I didn't feel second rate being a groupon customer which often you do. Not a lot of staff but it's a small place and they were attentive and kept on top of everything.
All in all its a good priced buffet with good food. The dishes had all the favourites but also some interesting things I hadn't tried before and I think the value for money is much better than other Indian buffets in newcastle.
