I stayed here for one night to see the OMD concert. I stayed in a single room and with early check-in and the gig discount, it came to about £28. The room itself had two bunks, one with a bottom double bunk. The top bunk was quite low, so you can't really sit on the bottom bunk. Some of the furniture and walls seemed a bit worse for wear, but it did the job. The wifi in my room was terrible; I was in the last room on the first floor so maybe the wifi didn't reach that far and it was cutting out every couple of minutes. The location is great, especially if you are attending a gig at the Sage Gateshead as it just a short taxi ride away (although you also get a free bus ride to the Sage, and the walk isn't too far). Breakfast was nothing special, just cereal and toast is offered. I had a steak and ale pie and a ware wolf cocktail for dinner, both of which were quite good. Would definitely stay here again.
