Stayed at the Premier Inn for three nights(Quayside) made a booking for two nights Receptionist went out of her way to accomadate us and we were desperate as we were tired, Had no more clean clothes left after two weeks of travelling UK and asked staff for closes laundrette and staff took some of our clothes and washed and dryed clothing in the establishment.

Good value for money. The helpfulness of staff was excellent. The bed and pillow were so comfortable. Great location. Close to shops and attractions. When travelling again in the UK my husband and I would definitely book more stays with Premier Inn instead of B&Bs.

Just returned from a long weekend in Newcastle. Hotel is in a great location just under Tyne Bridge. Staff are so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast excellent. Paid extra for underground parking but didnt mind as its secure. Used Quaylink Buses whilst there which run every 10 mins up to Midnight and only £1.70 for a day ticket. Havent been to Newcastle for a long time but was v pleasantly surprised. Everywhere v clean, lovely flowers, everyone v friendly. The place is bouncing at the weekend. Dozens of bars and restaurants to chose from. Restaurants recommended by hotel were excellent. City Centre is a shoppers paradise! Will definitely be back.

This is the second year my husband and I have stayed at Premier Inn, Quayside. Because we were there for the Great North Run and a special birthday/retirement for my husband, I asked if we could have a river facing room and could they put some birthday banners in the room to make it extra special. The room overlooked the Sage, Tyne bridge from the front and Millenium bridge from the side window. The banners I sent were placed around the room and across the outside of our room door. The staff were so friendly without being too familiar. Nothing was too much trouble. It is just a smashing place to stay. We used the underground carpark which has CCTV and a locking gated entrance. The prices are all very reasonable and being vegetarian we find they do cater quite well in the food department. We have booked again for next year's GNR.

The staff were great proving information on were to go and see. Stayed on a Thursday and Friday and there was little noise. Stayed on 4th floor room near a lift thought there would be a fair bit of noise nothing

Only thing is the parking is extra and trying to find directions on tom Tom is difficult sends you down a no entry road!!!

Overall very good will stay there again and recommended to friend and family already

Stayed 23 nights on a midweek city break with young children, all family rooms are on front with the bridge and river views. Fantastic service and quiet rooms apart from traffic. Listed building very well maintained and very clean. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Located on Quayside and a short walk from town centre, train station, metro half hour to sandy blue flag beaches.

The sash windows let traffic noise in didn't wake the kids up but may be cold in winter time.

Downsides, sash windows near young children without proper safety stops on a worry for little fingers getting trapped, would suggest secondary double glazing due to listed building status. Smallest 'floor bed was rock hard like sleeping on board. Some lights were not working and hair dryer went glowing red and smell of burning inside.

We were asked to check out before noon, train was at 1pm but at 10.50pm we were telephoned by reception to ask what time we were leaving as they needed to maintain the room, first time in a Premier Lodge that's happened and I have stayed in many over the years..

The above few down points apart this is a very good place to stay and will definitely go back and stay again..
