My Husband, children and myself stay recently on a Sunday and Monday night in 2 family rooms at the Premier Inn Quayside.
In an older building right on the river front. Rooms a very good size. Truckle bed as fourth bed - downside is it sits very close to the floor - looks more like a mattress on the floor but does actually have wheels. Still comfortable enough to sleep on and no drafts felt. King size bed as usual. Bathroom area very clean but a wee bit tired looking in the bath but not a great issue.
The reception staff where very pleasant and helpful throughout out stay.
Breakfast was very nice. Presented well and topped up regularly. Stragglers where still sure of a full breakfast right up to 10.30am.
We ate in the restaurant for an evening meal on one occasion and was very pleasantly surprised. Service from the young staff was wonderful. The meal was perfect and plentiful.
The area is central for shopping, eating out, walks by the river.
All in all we would definitely stay here again but please remember it is a budget hotel...not a 5*.More
