We returned to this restaurant after some considerable time to find a whole new decor and seating arrangement to that we remembered. The 'new' one is very pleasant and light with a Bollywood theme. The menu is full and varied with those dishes usually found together with some new ones. The dishes' descriptions are described enticingly enough to make it difficult to make a choice. I was very pleased with the food I finally chose - an aubergine starter and a chicken main course. Both were tasty, looked good and were well presented. We asked for the wine list but it wasn't a lot of help, them them not having our first three choices in stock. We finally took 'pot luck' and had what they offered. Fortunately it was a very pleasant sauvignon blanc. The waiters were all very pleasant, being polite and friendly although occasionally a little distracted. All in all, it was a very pleasant meal with family members and I hope not to leave it so long before I return again.

A tandoori restaurant with a wide range of options. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The service was decent although we would have liked a drinks menu so that we could see what was available and prices. Would recommend.

Visited with a couple of friends on a Tuesday evening in June. There were only 2 other people in when we arrived, and shortly before we left another 3 men came in. The restaurant therefore suffered from a certain lack of atmosphere. The waiters were friendly and attentive until the end. We had opted for their special set price menu of £9.99 for drink, starter, main, rice, ice cream or coffee. However we were never offered the final ice cream/coffee and my friend actually had to leave the table to find the waiter and ask for the bill. Having said that, the food itself was absolutely lovely and arrived in good time. Were were offered poppadoms and pickles whilst we waited (charged for of course). 6 different pickles was a nice variety. For the main course, 2 of us had tandoori chicken and were served lots of lovely pieces of chicken. The Korma had slightly less chicken than expected, but this was not really a problem as we were full anyway! We also shared a portion of chips rather than rice, and a peshwary naan, but we had to leave some of both. Would return, but hoping for a more lively atmosphere.

This restaurant has worked with slimming world to devise a menu for slimming world eating plans as well as weight watchers. I can get a low syn meal and it tastes fantastic. Infact it is nicer than normal indian food as it contains less fat (a lot less fat). They will cook the curry to your specific taste - ie - chicken curry - I like it madras style - last time I had it my lips were still tingling - yum.
The waiters are very friendly. The restaurant itself is basic, but I have been to plusher places and the food has not matched its surroundings. It's now a favourite place for us to go for a night out and enjoy a meal without feeling the diet is broken.
