visited this restaurant a while ago with a groupon voucher after recommendations from my daughter. Didnt think it would be as nice as it was. lovely traditional Italian feel, lovely owners and good service. not sat in the best place as others have said, prob due to the voucher. Food was served quickly and starters were ok but main very nice indeed. would defionately go back especially with voucher as its really good value for money.

We visited here on a voucher and paid an extra £7.00 to upgrade our 2 glasses of free wine to a bottle. We've got say as in previous 'voucher' reviews we got sat by the bar near to the door. Our starter value was upto £5.60 but were charged and extra £2.00 for king prawns which were £5.95 on the menu, goodness knows how they worked that out!! The prawns were not very large were swimming in warm yellow garlic butter with a small bit of salad on the side, we also had mussels, a small bowl in chilli tomato sauce, out of the bowl of about 16 mussels the 4 largest ones were closed and couldnt be eaten :( for mains we had 2 calzones a regular one and a veggie one.. couldnt complain at all they were both very nice, although sitting in a draughty area with no background music whatsoever and two nosey neighbours clocking everything we said it was just very lack lustre... and boring really. There was not really one thing that would be enough to drag u back into this side street! I do think that when people go to these restaurants on 'a deal' the owners should go out of their way to make the customer happy to promote future good business and custom. Why anyone would go here at full normal price is utterly beyond us!

Been here on a number of occasions now and never been disappointed. Excellent choice of dishes, all freshly produced, great quality and good sized portions. Have used a Groupon voucher on a couple of occasions which is superb value for money. This is a small family run restaurant which obviously prides itself in serving good food and looking after it's customers. We will most definitely return.

Visited in march with groupon voucher and so was good value. Good selection of starters and mains courses and food arrived promptly. Anti-pasti selection and risotto balls good but nothing special. Had meat calzone and vincenzos pizza for mains and very nice. Would definitely return.

Seven of us dined here, (it used to be called Peppys a few years ago) we were very cramped on a round table, which would have been suitable for up to six diners, but it was no big deal, the restaurant is basic but quaint, service was relaxed and very friendly, portions were good and the quality of the food was also good, pizza and steaks were excellent the menu is varied with a good selection of food. all in all it was very enjoyable with no complaints from anyone, will definately go back. The bill for 7 adults was £171 with 6 starters, 2 garlic breads, 2 portions of chips, 7 mains, 6 desserts, 1 bottle of wine, 6 pints of Grosch lager, 2 fruit juices, 2 red wines, the only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is the cramped table and dishwasher residue on the glasses which were changed promptly.
