Great place to stop off on my way to town in the morning. Lovely coffee and a great standard of food.

Went in a small group of friends

Service 5/5
There was only one member of staff serving but she managed to serve everyone and make up the drinks very quickly. Staff were friendly and engaged with casual conversation with regular customers.

Food 5/5
Unbelievable. Great full English breakfast and egg benedict.
Coffee was strong!

Value 5/5
Great value for that standard of food.

Atmosphere 5/5
The location and design of the interior of a cafe was quaint with a modern touch.

Everything just matched and all of my own expectations were exceeded.

We were looking for somewhere for a spot of lunch, near the quayside on a Sunday after visiting the little market there. This came up on trip advisor, what a find.
It was busy and there weren't any tables for 4 ( it is small), however the host asked a threesome if they would mind sitting at another table more suitable to make room for us. The menu is very interesting, a mix of snacks, breakfast items and some mains. We had a full English, a soup, eggs Benedict with smoked bacon and a smoked salmon & cream cheese baguette. all were excellent. It was my daughter's birthday and we had a homemade cake with us, which the staff discretely took away and brought back with candles, and then cut it for us - no charge! A great place for brunch or lunch anytime, will definitely be back.

We went purely on the back of the reviews in Trip Adviser....and we weren't disappointed. Delicious, simple and well prepared food in a lovely little nook on the Quayside. Highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.
