“Anytime is a good time to visit the Quayside”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

The Quayside is so diverse with an A-list of attractions and a wonderful view! This is a popular place to be with the buzzing restaurants and bars but there is also the tilting Millennium Bridge that must be visited as well as the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and Sage Building on Gateshead Quays. The Tyne bridge must take centre stage with the swing bridge alongside and all of this combined make for a superb place to visit.

“Great Place to be.”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

We walked along the Quayside on a beautiful sunny afternoon and what a pleasure it was. lots of others had the same idea and it was great to see so many people enjoying themselves. There were plenty of places to have a drink and something to eat both inside and outside. If you wanted to buy a picnic or a pie there is a Tesco and a Greggs so something for everyone.

“Everything you could want”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

A great night can be had by all.

On the quayside there is everything you could want from Italian dining to Indian speciailities and everything in between.

Lots of pubs to choose from and lovely hotels to stay in. come to Newcastle Quayside for a great night out or spoil yourself and stay for the weekend and go shopping in Eldon Square or the metrocentre.

“A lively & vibrant place to be.”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

By day a place to visit the key and iconic attractions of the Sage and the Baltic but by night a lively and vibrant place to eat, drink and make merry.
Don't miss the quayside market on Sunday offering a range of goods for sale from cakes to jewellery and more.
In essence just a great place to experience some of the geordie hospitality and history that is the wayside.
