As a NUFC season ticket holder I might be a tad biased, but if you are attending for a premier league match the amosphere is unsurpassed.
If youv'e got kids withyou suggest you take some 'goodies' in with you as food and drinks are pricey and not worth it. Most adults have a drink outside the ground before the match as it works out cheaper. Within 2 mins walking distance of City Centre, and Metro underground stationon doorstep. Avoid trying to take car to game, as parking around the ground is limited, especially with 50,000+ fans attending every home game. Obtain tickets prior to day of game to avoid queing at box office.

Absolutely brilliant. The Toon thrashed those upstarts from the Kings Road. The scoreline was 3-2 but Chelski were annihilated. The atmosphere was electric, 52,000 Geordies full of passion and aggression, 200 or so lost souls from the Capital surrounded by police ensconced in the upper rafters of the Stadium. Best place for them, out of sight out of mind. You haven't been to Newcastle until you've seen the Toon play. For the ultimate thrill, try and get a ticket when the great unwashed from Pennywell and Pallion are scheduled to visit. If you are lucky and spot one of this lot you will indeed agree with those that say Neanderthal man is still at large on this planet.
