Went to this restaurant whilst visiting our daughter to celebrate her 20th birthday. We were greeted and led immediately to our table where they relived us of our coats. Drinks arrived promptly while we read the menu and decided what we were going to eat. There was 4 of us and all very much enjoyed the starters and main course. Can highly recommend the Scallop, black pudding and risotto starter. The Chicken Kiev and also Roast Lamb with Dauphinoise were beautiful. However would not bother ordering deserts, we had 3 Assiette of chocolate which was a complete let down boring boring boring we had asked for this to arrive with various coffees which unfortunately didnt arrive till way after desert was finished, and Cheese and biscuits with port again port did not arrive until way after the boring tasteless cheese was finished. Overall we enjoyed the evening but dont think we will be rushing back

We dined at MPW restaurant whilst we were recently staying at Hotel Indigo.

Food & service were both exceptional. Our waiter Nic was fantastic & really personable. Very nice guy who provided excellent service & made our dining experience a pleasure.

There were 4 of us dining at the restaurant & all had a great meal. All ordered steak & all were cooked to perfection which sometimes can prove quite difficult when ordering fillet. Our drinks were topped up & Nic must have been watching as every time our glasses were a bit on the low side he was at our side topping them up or asking if there was anything else we would like.

Overall great dining experience & food. Cannot wait to return to Newcastle so we can come back to this restaurant.

Keep up the good work, very good indeed!!!!

Me and my partner had an amazing experience both in the restaurant and in the adjoining hotel lounge. The service was fab, waitress's were very friendly and attentive, we were able to seat a little earlier than booked which was a definite plus as we had thoroughly worked up an appetite reading the menu before hand. We ordered rib-eye and T-bone from the a'la carte menu, yes it is pricey but soo worth it, the steaks were to die for as were all the accompaniments and the chips(!!!). The sticky toffee pudding was also lovely. All in all definitely one of the best for what they do best!

4 of us went to eat here with our little boy. On the overall it was okay but for the price expected a bit more. The restaurant was not that busy yet the staff were not very attentive. One of us had prawns and were very disappointing soggy and tasteless. Mains were okay they forgot the mash, desserts were very tasteless and stodgy . Very average all round which is a Shame as the menu was really good
