We stayed the night before we started walking the Hadrian's Wall path. Directions from the station could have been clearer - it was really easy to find in the end but we had to ask for directions. Check-in was really easy and the room smart and clean. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel choosing to go for a walk around the quay but the breakfast was lovely.
