A wide selection of vegetarian and even vegan foods, with several fish dishes. The wholegrain homemade bread is the best I've ever had in a restaurant, and the soup was quite tasty, too. I plan to return soon to try their breakfast and their coffee. If they had wifi, it would be a wonderful place to hang out and work on my laptop.

The chairs and tables are unique, one will feel as if one has traveled back into time where fans and wooden room separators are used. The separators are painted with ancient Indian/ middle eastern ( not sure) paintings. They have a lot of magazines and books there. We took some books with us to read, and had awesome time.
Those who are not familiar with lassi (indian drink with diluted yogurt and sugar), do taste it! They have some awesome stuff there.

Had a lovely meal there last nightwith my wife. All of the food was lovely and the service excellent. Couldn't fault any of it from starter to main to dessert. Excellent quick service and good value for money. If I have one complaint it would be the size of the downstairs, it's a bit cramped. Great place for vegetarians so don't go if you want steak and chips. The Falafel and Dahl were very tasty. If you are in town shopping it would be an excellent place to pop in for coffee and cake. The menu is a bit limited in the evening but that suits me, too much choice can be a bit overpowering.

Popped in for breakfast, both vegan and veggie breakfasts were lovely (particularly like the homemade style baked beans - makes a very noticeable and pleasant change from the heinz style beans served just about everywhere else I'm ever been). Nice vibe to the place, a little bit hippyish perhaps, if that's your style then you'll like it...

Went in here for breakfast, and for only 5 pounds was treated to a great serving of Veggie food. Ended up coming back for dinner and must say the staff were more "welcoming" than any I have come across. This place has a great atmosphere and worth any vegan/veggies time. If your lucky, Alex the Chef - may even give you an interesting insight into the rise and fall of the telephone landline, a really interesting topic. This will be my first point of call, next time I am in the Toon!
