If you know J.D. Wetherspoon, then you know the menu, quality and value.

The quayside is a lovely conversion in a special place. In the heart of Newcastle City it is very popular with the hen and stag crowds, but is big enough and with smart staff that kept things running smoothly when we were there.

We had a family meal here last week and it was very good! The food was very reasonable and most choices included a drink! Can particularly recommend the curry as good value for money
The food arrives quickly and was hot. The staff are very helpful

Always call in here on a Sunday morning when over for the football matches at St James Park.
Food is top class, excellent service, hearty and filling full English, keenly priced.
Great choice of alcoholic beverages, Koppaberg Pear usually tops the list.
Ideally situated for a wee rummage round the Sunday morning Quayside market for the ladies.
In the summer months it's also a heavenly retreat to sit outside with an aperitif and people- watch whilst catching the rays as the Quayside Geordies go about their business.
Definitely recommend if in Newcastle at the Quays.

Have a walk along the Quayside on a Sunday morning, look at the market then have a coffee - or a breakfast here. In the summer it is lovely to sit outside looking out over the river, or in the courtyard. Reasonably priced and quirky surroundings.
