Saw a show here recently, staff were fantastic, but the theatre sadly now looks tired, my seat resembled a squeaky old bed and every time I moved it caused a lot of people to look at me. This is however a great venue and the stage is really good for viewing no matter how far away you are, just looks a little tired.

Went to see Sarah Millican on 7 October 2012 and couldnt fault the show at all. However all of the seats had the same price and unfortunately I ended up in the gallery. Never again! Could see the top of her head, but the gallery is very run down, smelt of damp and some of the seats missing. These tickets should NEVER have had the same price tag as the rest, even at half the price I would have felt ripped off. Will never go in the gallery again. Theatre should be ashamed of its self for charging top money for that disgusting flea pit called the gallery!

Not particularly pretty but they do put on a good show. Handy for Rail station and nearby China Town

Brilliant entertainment! The whole show was packed with great music from the 60s and had the theatre rocking. The cast were excellent, great musicians and singers and the storyline reminiscent of the youth clubs and relationships of it's time. Costumes lovely and the whole cast so energetic and professional. The audience were all standing and singing along in the extra session of great songs at the end of this brill performance. If you want the feel good factor this one is a show Not to be missed

Great small venue with period decor & great acoustics. We saw Sarah Millican there and enjoyed the evening. Lots of parking in teh multi storey car park right behind the theatre.
