Plenty of car parking space & the beach was nice and sandy with very few pebbles.
4 children and 4 adults enjoyed playing on the beach and paddling in the clear clean water.
The area was very clean and tidy.

For a seaside venue this was very poor , parking was OK but what are you supposed to do if you don't want to sit on the beach . It does have a very clean and nice beach but that's it ,sorry to say there are not the candy stores with named rock or fresh fish stalls selling local catch, perhaps there's no market for it any more but it does seem to of given this town a ghostly feel .

We have stayed here before but in the past rented privately owned caravans. I was unable to find one for the period I wanted to visit so rented a bronze caravan belonging to the park.

The van was average but unless you are a dog lover go for silver. Dogs are allowed to stay in the bronze range and the van inevitably smells of dog.Linen was provided which was an advantage and entry to the entertainments complex and swimming pool was included. The kitchen was reasonably provided for, but there were few serving dishes. To be fair the staff were very obliging and responded to requests for missing items very quickly. When a door broke they were around within 2 hours to fix it. They also replaced a window blind which had gone a bit fusty due to rain very quickly.

I came for the first time on 04th August 2013! The view of the lighthouse in the sunset is priceless! The beach is full of rocks which gives it a special touch of wilderness. There hundreds of seabirds and 2 cafes. I recommend a walk towards the lighthouse where you have some spots for birdwatching, toilets and a little garden with herbs. I am really happy i came here today!
