“Decent but when the suns out, so are the charvs”
Review of Whitley Bay

Whitley Bay
Reviewed February 22, 2013 via mobile

Place gets riddled with troublemakers with crates of cans/bottles when the sun's out. Nice place to go for a stroll and has some brilliant places to eat. But I agree with another review that it is quite depressing looking at the scenery around the area!

Apparently good on a Thursday night out, but I can't confirm as I've never tried!

With this day and age pubs are closing, but the wife and I found lots of things to do there. A few shops empty but new ones are turning up. Lots of places to eat on the front or in town.

Most depressing place i,ve been for a while. A real town in decline. A sure sign of the economic recession. Most pubs, shops and attractions shut down, it was like a ghost town.

Whitley Bay used to be the best place to go for Adults, kiddies for entertainment, but not a lot around there now, still have a caravan park, swimming pool, nice beaches. BUT NO Spanish city not a lot to do now for Holiday makers.
