“Three connecting parks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2014

Went here for a saturday walk, it was amazing - we started off in heaton park (I think!) and saw the amazing shoe tree, which is epic! we enjoyed walking though the parks, there was a lovely feel to them, and crossing from one park to another was really really easy.
Pet's corner was lovely, the goats rock. The cafe was a bit sub par, in terms of cleanliness - melted icecream cones left on the floor etc. We ordered sandwiches, which seemed really expensive, but when they arrived they had salad and potatoes with them, so that was great! Friendly staff. Walking along the river up to the waterfall was cool - not an awful lot of rubbish in the river, only the occasional bit. Definitely recommend this to people visiting Newcastle.

“Absolutely gorgeous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014 via mobile

If you like nature this is an absolute gem worth visiting! It is located at Newcastle city centre and if you take bus 38 at john Dobson St you can reach the park from proximities of Northumberland Street in about 10min. A 1 hour walk in Jesmond Dene will chill you out as the water course and its waterfalls are gorgeous! The whole place is an amazing park and you should not miss it!

“Oasis of peace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2014

Jesmond Dene Park is well worth visiting for a quiet stroll, a walk with the dog or a jog. It is so nice to find such a welcoming green space in the midst of a bustling area of a big city. The park feels safe and is well looked after. It is frequented by many local people, students and visitors to this lovely corner of Newcastle.

Once you have found somewhere to park it is a nice place to walk. Lots of people around walking children and dogs, nice pets corner, nice waterfall. Nice all round for an hour

“Stunning”

£6 million the local council spent here and what a great job they've made. Upgraded pathways, a new pets corner.
