“Wonderful walks”

A great place to go for a walk. Hard to believe you are so close to Newcastle city centre. It is so peaceful. if you have small children walk through Pets Corner - its free. Go walking, cycling or running.

“Beautiful.Beautiful.Beautiful”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

I absolutely love this park!
This park is so stunning and goes on forever. The waterfall is a particularly beautiful spot and you can still get to it despite the damage due to the floods. There are so many different routes you can take through the park too. During the day there is a cute little animal park which is great for children.
This park is fantastic especially in such a big city.

Love this place! There is always something new to find. From the grotto to the quarry. You can enjoy nature without having to leave the city.

“First visit for years was superb”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

I'd never been to this park since being a child and I must say, I'm sorry I'd left it so long. Free parking, a beautiful victorian bridge, a pet cemetery that bears no reflection on Steven king, lovely bridges, a river, wildlife, an animal park and play parks for the children (it was too snowy to use yesterday). We made snow men everywhere and threw snowballs at each other. It was wonderful - I thoroughly enjoyed it and the boys loved it too.
