“short city break”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

The premiere Inn Millennium Bridge at a very reasonable price allowed us to take a short city break that we would not normally think of doing. The hotels are all equally comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful and therefore made our short break very enjoyable. Great breakfast and under 15`s are free.
In retrospect i may have chosen the P.I. closer to the town but i know i would have experienced more noise from the surrounding streets according to the reviews.( especially at a weekend i would imagine)It was within walking distance of the town, just, but really a taxi was the quickest and easiest way to get to the centre so we spent a bit extra on taxis
As always the hotel was spotless and no complaints about the rooms. This branch did have a phone in the room which a previous P.I. did not, although we did not use it but it was there if we had needed it.

Room Tip: The higher the number the longer the walk from the lifts. They were very long corridors.

Stayed here on a business trip. Arrived after a long trip from Canterbury. Everything was great, food lovely, staff attentive and polite, room excellent.

The only thing I'd have to mention was the shower wasn't overly warm but it did the job.

Overall a great night and thank you to premier inn for making the end of a long and tiring journey a thoroughly enjoyable one!

I have stayed at the Millenium Bridge Premier Inn twice now and would recommend it. We stayed for 3 nights during Easter. Parking is very good. On arrival children were given an Easter egg which I thought was a nice touch. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great value, we had it for the 3 days we were there. This Premier Inn is really handy, just on the outskirts of the town but well within walking distance. Would definately go back if we visit Newcastle again.

The hotel was in a good location at a good price. The Monument by which all directions are given by locals was in sight. The front desk staff was wonderful, especially Kev. The building was a little worn but clean. I was very surprised at the great food, since this is not a top of the line hotel. Most of my meals during my 3 day stay were at their restaurant. The food was good and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. If you need a budget friendly place in this area I do recommend it.

We stopped here on a sunday night, the rooms were ok if not just a little too small. Very clean and in the usual Premier Inn bedding etc... Also used the fantastic £39 offer they had on, but I wouldn't pay anymore then that as it wasn't worth it.

Room Tip: 456, Was over the entrance and could hear delivery vans.

Good location for shops and venues. Car park next door - DON'T pay at the machine - go in the hotel and get parking vouchers as these work out cheaper.

Room Tip: We were on 7th floor and it was nice and quiet
