Premier Inn Newcastle City Centre (New Bridge Street) Hotel
Reviewed September 14, 2011

I have stayed in various hotels in & around Newcastle, but this was by far the best for comfort, friendliness of the staff, quality of food and location. The only downside was the sat-nave didn't pick the hotel location up. City Road in Newcastle is a long road if you don't know the city.

Room Tip: Front of hotel could be potentially noisy due to emergency vehicles on City Road. Normal traffic no...

we were in a room for disabled which was very well laid out and spacious, the only draw back for some disabled people was there was a bath not a wet room, the friendliness of the staff was excellent. the hotel was virtually on the edge of the tyne and there were restaurants and bars within a 5/10 minutes walk. the food in the hotel was good. would definately recomment this premiere inn.

Myself and 5 friends stayed here for 1 night for a friends stag do and as a stop off before we continued our journey to Edinburgh. The check in process was very quick and easy. We had 4 twin rooms, all very small but suitable for a 1 night stay. We opted for the £22 meal deal which included a 3 course meal with drink and breakfast. Very good deal as the meal was very good and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel is well located for bars/restaurants etc.

All In all a good stay and would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back of the hotel as the front faces a club

The Hotel was ideal for visiting Newcastle-upon-Tyne, just on the outskirts of the city but only 5 minutes walk to the river and the Millenium Bridge where there were numerous bars/resturants to suit everyones taste along the river or just up one of the delightful streets.

It did exactly what they say, good clean rooms and the food is excellent in quality and value with a good choice...Breakfast is freshly cooked to order, 5*
Walkinking distance to all the sightseeing that the City offers and a stones throw from the river trips and cafes..without the hassle of city noises and the car park is safe and its FREE

GReat value hotel in a good location. Only a few minutes walk from the quayside which is easy and safe to get to. AS a result you get a good nights sleep and somewhere to park your car with being in easy reach of the action.
Room what you expect of a premier inn except was very warm even with fan provided.
Five minutes walk to pitcher and piano bar on quayside for a drink or Gusto or La Tasca just behind amongst other places.

We recently stayed at the Premier Inn and cannot sing their praises highly enough. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. One of the best nights sleep I've ever had away from home!
