Used this hotel when travelling with friends.
Fantastic location. Close to Quayside pubs and entertainment and not far from city centre and railway station. Room really was superbly clean and well stocked. Only fault, but I refuse to mark down due to this was it was extremely hot at night. However, it was an extremely hot weekend and this is the UK after all so would not expect AirCon for our few hot days.

Give this great hotel a go.

We use Newcastle as our stop-off when going to Europe by car ferry because it is outside the city centre but just a short Quayside bus ride away. Reception and breakfast staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are standard Premier Inn - spacious but with no obvious way of controlling temperature, and a shower in a high-sided bath which is hard (and potentially dangerous) for oldies like us. Access by car is easy and there is plenty free parking space under the hotel. If you are a real ale fan, don't miss a visit to the Free Trade Inn, just 10 minutes away on foot, with beautiful views up the river.
One gripe - the normal price is good value (£81 for a room on this occasion), but for our next trip we will be charged £117 on a Sunday night, presumably because of some event in the city?

Very good Premier Inn Hotel just off the bustle of the Quayside but easy enough to walk to all the sights of Newcastle. It was lovely and quiet at night. Friendly staff, clean hotel, great beds, excellent bathroom. Only one thing missing was a view. Looked at a distant brick wall. Still we didn't intend to spend too much time in the room. Newcastle was excellent and the people were very friendly. Didn't see everything so must go back again.

Room Tip: At the back is away from the street and quiet but no view.

I found this to be a good hotel - Premier Inns are usually fairly reliable. The staff were friendly, flexible and accommodating. It's close to the Millennium Bridge so it's handy for Northumbria Uni, the main shopping area and any activities around the quayside. I'm just not a huge fan of Newcastle!
