Having planned to v8sitbut then heard that it was closing down, one Saturday afternoon we Googled on the off chance and decided to risk a trip out. The restaurant is opposite a dustinctive church on Heaton road. When we arrived at around 2pm the place was still busy but a table was cleared and we were seated within a minute or two. The menu is impressive but I decided on the falafel burger, and my partner (a confirmed meat eater) decided to join me. I also had a grapefruit and lime iced tea, whilst he went for a smoothie and a flat white. The drinks arrived quickly, but we expected a wait for the burgers as the menu warns they can take up to 30 minutes. When they arrived they were well cooked and came with a delicious spicy sauce. The burger itself was just the right consistency and came with "proper chips" - add a bit of salt and vinegar and you're in chip heaven. We cleared our plates, and whilst he is not changing his meat eating ways, he might just be tempted to try more veggie in future.
Well be back; the breakfast menu needs exploring further!
