This is a beautifully preserved historic Street in Newcastle. If you haven't seen it you really should try to visit soon, you will not be disappointed. For once the planners have got it right and protected and restored Grey Street so that it looks much as it did 100 years ago. .

Well grey street has to be the most beautiful street of Newcastle. Starting from the top you have the most beautiful theatre royal and what a beautiflu building it is, looking down from the theatre down grey street just admire the view, with the grand old buildings, and bustling cosmopolitain people rushing around from place to place, and I'd you have a good day you can just see the incredible Tyne bridge the true symbol of Newcastle upon Tyne.
If you want to eat an drink in some of the top places in Newcastle look no further than grey street, from Spanish, Mexican, Italian, Indian to British it has it all, I highly recommend trying out the new Browns bar and restaurant and opposite las iguanas
Truly a magic part of Newcastle

There are loads of restaurants to choose from, most of them very affordable. Walking down this street will also get you close to the quayside, also worth a visit if in Newcastle.

Tandoori Nights restaurant very good and very nice staff, Food was lovely and I am not a massive fan of Indian food but thoroughly enjoyed it and the cost was not expensive - good sized portions and the beer was reasonably priced as well.

Great architecture. Newcomers to the city are always surprised and how beautiful the centre of Newcastle can be . Wander down here at any time of day or night and admire the buildings. Some nice shops too.
