Smart apartment block with hotel feel. Excellent quality accommodation, spotless modern decor. Comfortable beds nice an quiet. It's a little out of town but only 10 minute walk or just a few pounds taxi. 5 minute walk down to the quayside. Nothing else really in the immediate area but that makes it nice and quiet so no problem sleeping and not full of rowdy groups on a night out. Breakfast was a nice surprise as it was a buffet so I expected just continental but there were hot choices as well and all very tasty and well cooked and presented. Would definitely recommend them and will stay again.

Just come back from a one night stay here due to business and let's just say I was tempted to never leave! We had a studio suite which had a fully equipped kitchen, spacious luxurious bathroom (no bath but a monster double shower) and king sized bed that was comfier than anything I have ever sleep in!
The room itself was spotless, and had some great extra features, such as a port to plug your laptop into the tv, reading lights and pots, pans, a cafetiere, cutlery, knife set and a beautiful view over the Tyne (we were on the fourth floor).
Breakfast was fab too, a huge choice of continental and hot food and coffee that actually was more than drinkable ( a rare occurrence in hotels).
I'm just sad I won't have more reason to stay here again, but luckily, these aparthotels are becoming more commonplace in the uk now, and with staybridge opening more in the uk, including London, I hope my next stay won't be too far away.

Room Tip: Go up, up and up and ask to overlook the Tyne if you can.

Unlike a normal hotel room, the suite is designed for customers who want to stay a bit longer. There was a small kitchen with everything you could want, a nice lounge area to watch TV, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was lovely and stylish. The sofa could even fold down to serve as an extra bed. The staff were really friendly and helpful as well. It was good value for money, although a little outside the city centre.

Made us wish we could have stayed for longer!

I have been staying in Newcastle a lot on business recently and the Staybridge is ideal for these longer term stays, with good sized, comfortable rooms and the additional bonus of a kitchenette area if you just fancy a night in. Good value for money, with a large breakfast selection and 24-hour coffee on tap.

Newcastle town centre is only ten minutes on foot and The Quayside barely five, so it is a great base for exploring the city and the surrounding area at the weekends as well.
