Had the £10 breakfast with orange and coffee.

The service was smart and friendly and the ingredients used were top quality.

The bistro is nice and modern and not too crowded or noisy.

Couldn’t really fault it and will definitely visit again.

Recommended!

Cote is a very clever take on decent dining. It manages to churn out decent service and food at all of its restaurants. Newcastle is no different to any other. Good service. Decent food. My fish pit wasn’t the very best but it was delicious. We all had great food and wine. £50 a head for 2 courses and 2 bottles of wine. Excellent value and a nice room.

Visited here twice for breakfast as we enjoyed it so much. Lovely waiting staff who are very welcoming and professional. Nice decor and little touches like filtered table water ( without having to ask for it) Full English 'deal; with fruit juice and coffee for just £9.50 ( or £9 something?) Well presented food and staff were not intrusive in checking that everything was ok for us.
Very nice and competitively priced with anywhere in that area.

We booked in advance for stable after our visit to the theatre, I mentioned at the time it was our anniversary. When we arrived and shown to our table we were given a complimentary glad of rose sparkling wine, which was an unexpected surprise. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered from the prestige menu. My wife enjoyed her gazpacho which was thick and spicy. I enjoyed my melon and Parma ham.
My main course of pork tenderloin was cooked perfectly, very tender and moist. The mash potato and jous was exceptional. My wife enjoyed her hake, which was not overcooked. The house red was fine too.
