I was very excited to try this new Tapas restaurant and rightfully so! I decided to book a table (party of 5 on a saturday night - wise decision). I received such a warm and friendly welcome and soon found that this was an authentic, top quality restaurant.

The menu selection is neat and refined, offering sharing platters, a few sides and main dishes and about 12 tapas dishes. The wine list is extensive, and not being a connoisseur of Spanish wines i asked for some advice. The (spanish) lady whom greeted us was so genuine and with such a lovely nature, she did not try to up sell for a more expensive wine but gave us an honest opinion and tastings, which led to an excellent choice for the money we were happy to pay. Her knowledge of the menu was excellent, it is easy to see how passionate the staff are about the food and service they give for an excellent dining experience.

Regarding the food i can honestly say it is the best tapas i have had. We chose every tapas dish to experience the whole selection on offer. The black pudding was so good my friends who generally dislike black pudding loved it too. The quality of each dish was superb and portions were just right. We skipped dessert as we were so content from what we had eaten.

Overall, the menu is not over complicated, it is good value for money, great service, an authentic environment, comfortable and relaxing. I will definitely return!

No words are adequate to describe the fantastic all round experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, authentic delicious food a taste sensation on every plate, wine delightful and a sneaky glass of pure joy that was sherry. Highly recommend the meat board. Could not pick one plate of tapas over another but the cuttlefish (the aroma alone when it lands on your table) was up there as was the black pudding. This small but atmospheric restaurant is a must.

A small friendly restaurant. Excellent authentic Spanish dishes served by people who are passionate about their culture and food. A perfect end to our trip to Newcastle. Now looking for an excuse to come back so we can return to this restaurant. Wonderful!

This is the real deal. Proper Spanish tapas in lovely surroundings. Lovely food and lovely staff who are so helpful and with great knowledge about the food and wine.Quality all round. Premises are quite small so booking essential. I can see this place moving soon to a bigger venue as it is going to be so popular. Only thing I could complain about are the wine prices , but that's always been my gripe. Starting at £19 a bottle isn't good. Loved it though.
