We dined with friends. The restaurant is obviously popular. It was a Saturday night and most tables were taken, many by Turkish people which is normally a good sign. The food was fine without being special. The service was very welcoming and efficient. Perhaps not a restaurant for a special occasion but certainly worth a visit.

Very basic Turkish fast food fare.
Once again, I was fooled into thinking that a Turkish restaurant would provide exciting Turkish food. What more can I say? Very disappointing!

Went for late lunch with a friend. We had the lunch special which was 2 starters and a main course for £7.45! We shared the starters which were very tasty, then I had the chicken shish and my friend had the vegetarian moussaka. They were both delicious and good portion size. The house red wine for £12 is also brilliant.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Good atmosphere. Ladies toilets were immaculate.
Definitely would visit again.

Excellent food.
Went last week with my girlfriend. Make sure you book, we did but others rocking up unannounced (at 7.30pm on a week night) had to wait. Not been before so don't know if it's that busy all the time, might just have been full of late night shoppers in the run up to Christmas...

Started off with a hot meze plate - delicious. It came with pitta bread, lots of nibbly bits and some humus type stuff. The only minor criticism would be that it needed a bit more of the humus for dipping as the ratio of moist/dry was a bit off, what with all the bread.

Mains dishes we had iskender and ali nazik. Wow- lamb was so tender. Both were just a lovely mess of yoghurty flavour. The dishes both stand alone, with sides needing to be ordered separately to bulk it out a bit.

I had an ayran yoghurt drink. I won't be touching that again. It had an horrendously salty after taste, and was like something you'd use to induce vomitting. The barman did point this out to me, in fairness. So maybe it's just not a drink for my decadent western palate...:)

A great little restaurant.
Amazing food, bustling without feeling cramped, good atmosphere, good crack with the staff, lovely little ornate lamp shades...
Will definitely return. If only because i was too full to try the baklava!
