Went for quick post game meal with 2 friends. Been here before a few times and was taking these guys for their first time. They loved it as did I! Service isn't always great particularly if you want a quick exit but mains are always good

Popped in spontaneously one evening for a meal with friends, it wasn't very busy with only a few other tables occupied. The staff were friendly but efficient. Garden roll started was delicious, really fresh herby taste. Overall the food was good, everyone enjoyed their meal. It's a great change to all the other restaurants in Newcastle and offers authentic vietnamese food that's comparable with far more expensive places in London. Reasonably good value, starters main and drinks for 3 was £55. I'd definitely go back again.

Dropped by last Saturday afternoon, first time in a few months. The newly appointed Front of House Manager was keen to tell us that there had been a change in managerial responsibilities. Apparently the family owned and run business has been devastated by some of the reviews and bad press received, she was keen to point out some of them were justified. We did not realise they had taken a nose dive as this has always been one of our favourite and seemingly busy restaurants.

The son (who was trying to run both the kitchen and the front of house) is now firmly in change of the kitchen and his lovely young wife the front of house. The front of house couldn't do enough to please us and our meal was fresh and tasty. The starters of lime beef salad and steamed spring rolls were generous and quick to arrive. Main course 77 and 79 our favourites, crispy noodles with seafood were delicious. OK, there were no free prawn crackers - but that's probably a good thing - to me they are just a heart attack waiting to happen. With starters around £4 and mains around £9 this is definitely value for money. Try this place again as I'm sure you will have a great meal and great service, if you ever had a poor ones in the first place, which we have never had.

The portion of monkfish was huge and cooked brilliantly! Food was light and fullof flavour. Very impressed for a take away meal.

Little Saigon offers a great choice of Vietnamese dishes with fresh ingredients! One of my fav restaurants ever, it's worthy a visit especially at lunchtime with the set menus.
