“Interesting gathering of stalls!”
Reviewed June 23, 2012

This market is opened only on Sundays (I think). I visited with my family and it was well worth the effort! Very interesting stalls selling home-made foodstuff, handicraft, and other thingamijigs!

Our favourites include the stall where the guy uses broken pottery/glass/etc and creates lovely frames for mirrors; and the stall by David Nash leather goods made by him, or so he claims (his jokes and wise-cracks were very entertaining!).

We were lucky enough to be there when the Millennium Bridge tilted - as this was the first time we were there, it was quite fascinating to watch!

All in all, a great place to pick up some souvenirs, grab an English snack and a cuppa, and see the famous bridges of Newcastle!

“Some great little stalls”
Reviewed June 18, 2012 via mobile

If your visiting Newcastle then it's worth checking out. Some great little hand made stalls and other home made food. When you live here like I do, it can get a bit repetitive but if your a tourist then it's worth a walk around
