Stayed here with other friends as we were in area for a wedding. Clean, comfortable spacious rooms, great breakfast and dinner. Staff all very helpful and for the price we paid we were all very happy. Only downside is that it is a fair distance from Guildford centre. Think it is more than 1.5 miles from train station as it was £10 for a taxi

Stayed here while attending a wedding recently. Room was clean and had all that we needed. Staff let us check in early so that we could get to the ceremony on time. Good value for money too. The breakfast was OK though the hash browns (much advertised!) were dire. Overall though the place did exactly what we needed it for and its handy being just off the A3.

Room Tip: We stayed in the annex which I suspect is quieter than the main building as that is nearer the main road.

If you want food that is cooked and served well DO NOT go here.
When I visited and requested a simple sausage baguette what I was served was uncooked and they even forgot the chips. After sending it back to the kitchen I waited and waited for it to reappear and after 20 minutes headed for the bar to recover my costs when I was met by the barman bearing the food, I refused it and he fetched the manager to deal with the refund, so far so good until the barman, having poured a glass of wine for another guest realised that it still had lipstick on the rim!!
This is not a place I would recomend, uncooked food and dirty glasses, a recipe for a very nasty stomach upset.

This inn is big, with an annex. Do not make the mistake we did along with some others we talked to, of parking up near what appears to be the reception but is in fact the annex. So, after parking conveniently near and humping our luggage over to the door we were astonished to find the door locked and an arrow pointing to reception. This arrow is pointing about 50 yards up the road! So, we carted our luggage up to the proper reception to be greeted by the usual friendly staff and given our room keys in, guess where, the annex!!! So we traipsed back the 50 yards to the original building. All good exercise though. Our rooms backed on to a very busy main road with constant traffic noise all night. This is the first premier inn where I never slept at all due to this noise. I discovered this was due to an ill fitting window which was letting in the noise. No doubt this has been looked at by now. Food in the adjacent restaurant was fine, no complaints.

Room Tip: Avoid annex road facing rooms.

Everything you expect from Premier Inn. Very pleasant stay at the Guildford Premier Inn. Room clean and tidy, bathroom spotless. Restaurant attached, had breakfast (buffet). Glad to see that at this hotel the hot food is cooked to order. However thought price for full breakfast is expensive at over £8.00, especially when Frankie&Benny just down the road offers 2 beakfasts for £10.00. Would stay here again. No pool or fitness centre on site but leisure centre just up the road (5 min walk) recommended esp for kids.

BEWARE. As other have said, hotel is NOT in Central Guildford, taxi ride cost us nearly £10 to be taken into town centre.

Room Tip: For peaceful night sleep, ask for room NOT facing the A3 motorway as traffic noise can be intrusive, even through double glazed windows.
