What a lovely spot on outskirt of Guildford. Very interesting display of barge history plus information on the history of Dapdune Wharf. We enjoyed the boat trip on the River Wey with an informative talk from the driver. Nice walk along the tow path and a lovely tea room when you return. There is plenty of spots for a picnic and carparking too. Suitable for oldies and the young a lovely day out for anyone.

Ideal for a sunny day, located right on the river. Excellent for a walk around then to enjoy a drink in the cute tea room after.

Good information. Basic tea room facilities & choice but very nice. Lovely riverside location. Facinating for us as my husband knew the green area located slightly away from the central displays, as a builders merchant & skate park from his youth.

A charming slice of an England almost now gone, tea rooms by the river Wey, relaxed and friendly service, nice gardens to sit in when the weather permits. One can also pay for a boat ride along the river and/or see some history of the tyep of boats that once used the river for business and pleasure. If you in Guildford and this attraction is open (check web-site as seasonal) then do pop in and take a jump back in time to a more relaxed and civilised period.

Very informative, and well set out. We often take visitors there, especially if they, like us, are National Trust members, as it is then free.
