“Great hotel with lovely staff ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013 via mobile

Stayed for one night as a couple getaway for husbands birthday. Loved it, hotel staff very friendly and professional. Room was to very high standard, and bathroom was very modern and clean. Only downside was view, we had the best view which was of the car park but thats to be expected in a city/town centre location. Did not eat at the hotels restaurant so cannot comment on that.

Just to add we also used the spa facilities which were good but unfortunately could not use the pool as maintenence was being carried out. The steam room, sauna and relaxation room was very nice. The girls working there made us feel welcome and the 1 hour couples massage we had booked was heavenly. The therapists were amazing and left us feeling totally relaxed and refreshed. Will definately be going back there. Everything was worth the money we paid (which was alot for just one night :) )

Guilford itself is very beautiful and upscale, wouldnt mind moving there! We had dinner in a Thai restaurant called Thai Terrace which was recommended to us by the staff at hotel. Very nice location and atmosphere but also the food was delicious and the staff again were very attentive. Loved this midweek break away from the two kids and will be going again.

Hotel is in a great location in Guildford, just next to G-Live and close to restaurants on the High Street. Reception is rather grand and the service is amazing, especially Luke on reception. Nothing is to much for any of the staff! The rooms are a good size, stylish and very clean. Would definately recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

Based in the town, this well priced hotel is easily accessible from the A3.
The staff are very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Everything about this place apart from the price is 5* including the rooms; imaculate, quite, cosy and very well decorated.
The breakfast is top rate with a wide variety of continental and full english buffet.
The only snag for me was that the TV channel list is limited and no Sky Sports! Otherwise perfect !!

Room Tip: Be careful where you park when checking in - a colleague returned to his car after only 10 mins to f...

Nice modern clean hotel in the centre of Guildford. We had a superior room at the back of the hotel which had a comfortable bed and good size bathroom, the only problem was we looked out onto a car park and a line of rubbish bins. The hotel restaurant food was very nice, with a good choice on the menu. You have to pay for parking and £10.00 each for the use of the spa. The spa area was really tiny and the pool was so small, no more than 4 people would be able to swim in it. We had breakfast in our room but I am sorry to say it was rather poor with very little choice. The Reception staff were very helpful. Guildford town has plenty of shops and restaurants, and therefore this hotel is fine for an overnight stay.

Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for choosing the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Guildford Hotel for your recent stay in the area and for taking the time to write your feedback on Trip Advisor.

I am delighted to hear you found the hotel clean, modern and well situated at the top of Guildford’s High Street. I’m sorry to hear your room overlooked our residential neighbours refuse area. Our secure underground car park is charged at £10 per 24 hours however there is a municipal pay and display car park behind the hotel should guests prefer to use this. Our wet spa area is £10 per person on weekends to ensure that numbers can be kept to a minimum to ensure this area remains a tranquil and relaxing place. Our pool is designed for fitness and is fitted with two powerful contra jets which give resistance to swimmers. I am sorry your room service breakfast was not to your liking and will be passing your feedback to our Head Chef to review.

We hope you will consider returning on a future visit to Surrey.

Had a team meeting at this hotel, meeting for 20 people and stayed the night. The hotel was first rate, the staff looked after us very well and the hotel was very premium and reasonably priced. I would definitely use again and recommend.

Business Class Rooms are beatiful and provide more than enough space for even a family like mine. You'll enjoy the luxurious bathrobes, the separate shower and bath, big desk, good wifi signal and obviously the excellent customer services. Luke, Bahra, Ross are amazing people, very understanding and they make you feel really special, nothing is too much trouble.
The cleanliness of the room is spot on; breakfast is fantastic; the hotel is located right on the edge of the city center and 2 minute walk from a bunch of fast food and normal restaurants. Lovely hotel, looking forward to stay again.

Room Tip: It is worth paying for an upgrade!!!
