Owner description: NEVIS RANGE Mountain Experience is in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland, 7 miles north of Fort William. The mountain gondola will transport you to 650m on Aonach Mor where you'll find the Snowgoose restaurant & bar with awesome views, mountain trails, kids play area, and the Mountain discovery Centre (summer only). In the winter, we're open for sledging, skiing and boarding. There's biking for all in Leanachan forest, plus bike wash, bike hire and a skills park. The NEVIS downhill track (with gondola uplift) hosts the Mountian Bike World Cup each year and there's the new red Route opening in summer 2009. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We went along simply to get above the snow line and see what was going on. Great trip up the mountain. The cafe was packed with skiers (but then that's what it's all about....) which all added to the atmosphere. but the views from the deck outside were fantastic. Loads of snow. I think there may have been a problem with one or more of the chairlifts, which was causing some congestion and grumpy people, but that can happen anywhere in the world. Want to go back and book a snowboard lesson now!

Was a tad on the breezy side going up and down on the Gondola, on the mountain its self it was quite quiet, lots of snow, staff friendly and great to see so many wee kids enjoying the snow and skiing. Wrap up well if going up the mountain even if its just for viewing.

Was great, what a view from the top. Was a little scary when the wind was blowing and it was swinging. The cafe was quite cheap too. Sent a postcard from the top to get it stamped. Would go again.

We visited here at the end of January 2014 and unusually there was no snow at ground level. The attraction was not too busy but by no means quiet. Not being winter sports people we only wanted to take a trip in the cable car and have a coffee enjoying the views. At £11.50 per person just for a return cable car ride I found this a bit expensive. The coffee at the top was nice enough and the views were brilliant
