Owner description: NEVIS RANGE Mountain Experience is in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland, 7 miles north of Fort William. The mountain gondola will transport you to 650m on Aonach Mor where you'll find the Snowgoose restaurant & bar with awesome views, mountain trails, kids play area, and the Mountain discovery Centre (summer only). In the winter, we're open for sledging, skiing and boarding. There's biking for all in Leanachan forest, plus bike wash, bike hire and a skills park. The NEVIS downhill track (with gondola uplift) hosts the Mountian Bike World Cup each year and there's the new red Route opening in summer 2009. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We took the Gondola ride which took you up to some magnificent views. You can then take The Great Glen chairlift for even more views and a truly peaceful experience. Definitely worth the visit even if you're not into hiking or mountain biking!

“Shame about the weather.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

We made a special effort to visit Ben Nevis, unfortunately the low clouds, mist and rain spoilt the view from the gondola and the cafe. Still we had a coffee and Kit Kat , no sandwiches left , and can say we tried. Within a few minutes of returning to the car the sun came out and the low clouds lifted, oh well, that's Scotland for you .

Excellent and the viewing points at the top were brilliant. We looked down over the great glen with Ben Nevis away to our left. Truly awe inspiring

“Stunning scenery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2013

We were lucky with the weather and had some gorgeous views on the way up and whilst up there.
It was nice to be able to walk around when you arrived up at the top.
The gift shop was well stocked and we bought some lovely items we hadn't seen anywhere else.
We had coffee, cake and soup in the cafe and it was adequate and reasonably priced.
It cost £30 for the 3 of us which we didn't think was too bad especially as there was a reduced price entry on the ticket for the Sealife sanctuary near Oban, which we visited afterwards.
We would definitely recommend this attraction!

I had been before in the summer but wanted to go up there with my new husband in the snow! it was amazing, its pricey but well worth it. Views are super impressive during the summer on a good day.
