“Another perfect stay at Denbies - recommended for business stays”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

I always stay at Denbies whilst visiting Pfizer on business. I love the warm and friendly (and safe) welcome that I always get. Great wifi, beautiful beds and linen, amazing breakfasts. I absolutely detest the corporate welcome and indifference of the other hotel venues in the area, that also charge 3 times the price. Denbies is a breath of fresh air, a really high quality place to stay. There are always really thoughtful extras in your room. Really nice toiletries, lots of tea/squash/biscuits Read less

For business, there is a big desk & good light, plenty of plug points.Breakfast is prepared from locally sourced items & cooked to order & enjoyed with free papers & great views over the vineyard.

We stayed one night here as part of a Denbies Wine Experience. This is a charming Bed and Breakfast in a Farm House. The rooms are large and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable we slept very well. It is quiet and peaceful but Dorking is only a 1.5 mile drive away. Breakfast is fantastic! A full British Breakfast, cooked to order with locally sourced food. All while seated in a Conservatory which gives wonderful views of the surrounding vineyards. Well worth a second (or third!) visit.

I came along early Jan 2014 with my girlfriend on a Groupon voucher - a package including the wine-tasting tour, a 3 course meal each in the conservatory restaurant, a double room for one night in the guesthouse and breakfast in the morning. We were both astounded by the value for money and sheer quality of all parts of our stay.

I'd read a lot of good reviews about Denbies online but I think what we experienced even surpassed those reviews. The room in the guesthouse was big, cosy, clean and had several extra little touches, (a generous selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits and also a great selection of toiletries), which gave it a really lovely human touch and shows they like to go the extra mile.

The wine-tasting tour was great, we learnt a lot from a lovely, charismatic, and slightly eccentric lady, and obviously got to try some of the, (delicious), wine. The 3 course meal we had in the evening was excellent, every course that came out looked and tasted better than the last, and the service/decor was to the highest standard. I wasn't really expecting this.

A lovely full english was provided in the morning alongside any cereal, extra toast, yogurts and fruit you wanted. Upon leaving I felt like I'd had a really great experience and really been looked after well. Every person we encountered had a big smile on their face and obviously really knew the meaning of the term good customer service.. So different to the average 'chain hotel' type experience. I couldn't recommend Denbies more! And have already done so to friends and family.

Couldn't have had a nicer stay, everything was wonderful. Upon arriving we found our room to be supplied with lots of tea and coffee and even juice and bottled water and biscuits and chocolate bars. These were all complimentary and lovely to find in our room. The room was very spacious with a very comfy arm chair and a TV with DVD player. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room could be heated easily via the central heating. The bathroom was well supplied with toiletries and was clean and spacious. There was even reading material in the bedroom and lovely décor on the wall. In the morning the breakfast room was lovely and welcoming with lots of choice of breakfast and coffee and tea and juice. The English Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the staff are just lovely and warm and welcoming. I absolutely cannot fault this place at all. Thoroughly recommend.

Room Tip: There are ground floor rooms available for those with disabilities etc.

Only stayed one night but I was very pleased with the room and service. Very spacious, clean room with complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, snacks and bottled water. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and stunning views from the dining room (and that was in winter, it must be even more amazing in summer!). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice relaxing break or anyone who likes beautiful scenic walks.

Our son's wedding ceremony was at Denbies so an overnight stay at The Farmhouse was an obvious choice. We were made very welcome on arrival and very pleased with the room. All looks very new - nice bed, sizeable room, reading material, coffee & tea, bottled water, biscuits, trouser press, very smart bathroom with powerful shower, selection of toiletries, hairdryer - they'd thought of everything.

Breakfast was served in the conservatory, with a view of the vineyard. We went a short walk in the vineyard, it was a stunning day with lovely views to Box Hill.

We stayed at denbies last weekend and it was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful, as well as our room and the overall house were quite clean. The room is quite a good size with a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The view is breathtaking as the b&b is surrounded by the vineyard. Will definitely stay again.
