Small and friendly, but really goes into detail about what a Tide Mill actually does.
They do lots of events for children as well and it is right on the river in Woodbridge with good views and nice walks around the river, as well as a couple of nice cafes right near by.

Following a big makeover funded by the lottery, Woodbridge Tidemill is a great place to visit. The main water wheel is now on display from outside (you could see it before but only through a crack in the wall!). There is a decent film to watch as an introduction and there are plenty of decent exhibits to read. If you go at the right time (depends on the tide) you can see the mill in action. I live in Woodbridge and this is now a must see for weekend visitors.

We were lucky enough to visit the Tide Mill just as grinding was about to start thus enabling us to get a true picture of how thing might have been. This a small, well presented tourist attraction with plenty of information. Well worth a visit and good value.

We were here on Monday and were shown round by a great couple dedicated to explaining how the Mill used to work. We arrived at action time as the Mill started to grind flour . It stands on the edge of the estuary and to stand and watch the birds and the world go by is a pleasure

A small interesting museum housed in the original tide mill - best visited when the tide is in. Good information re history of the Mill and how the mill was ground - worth a visit.
