“Interesting for a short visit”
Reviewed May 5, 2012

The Tide Mill is something a bit different - the guides are very knowledgeable. It is interesting but.... it is a Tide Mill ... does exactly what it says on the tin! Do go and see it but it won't take very long.

“Restored unique Suffolk tidemill”
Reviewed April 8, 2012

Visited the newly restored mill on its un official public re opening. The newly painted mill stood very visibly on the quayside. There are two "guides" there who were very knowledgeable about the restoration which cost over one million pounds. The hand built oak water wheel is operated by sluice gates from a large pond filled at high tide The tidemill should be contacted to find out what times the wheel will be operating. The upper levels are quite well accessed although the stairs are very steep and could stop some visitors from exploring Very child friendly with some games and push button stories. £3 for concessions £8 for families and £3.50 for adults £1.50 children

“A bad day to visit”
Reviewed April 6, 2012

This was to be our highlight of our tour of Woodbridge but on arriving at the mill we were told it was their first day of the season and it was only open to persons that had donated towards the refubishment.ie National Lottery personnel.
