Have been to the Anchor twice now to eat. The food is superb, good tasty home cooked food with delicious desserts. We went last Saturday and I had the Cheese/bacon burger with chips, this was really good, previously had a curry....yum. The young lads waiting the tables were really charming, happy, and could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Overall, good old fashioned basic pub, with great food.

Great food! Excellent service. Good old style pub with many old features. I love the steak and many different topping they have with them! Never had room for desserts but they always look lovely!

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat.

WOW staff were pleasant, beer is good and the food is superb. If I had the quibble then I would say the menu was limited on the occasion we visited but am assured it isn't normally, maybe I will try it again then??

One of the best places to eat in Woodbridge!!

Dropped in for lunch and was filled to the brim with decent grub. I had the lemon sole and it was perfect. Grilled well and with a tasty pea risotto (rice had bite instead of being mush - which I like). Partner had the Penang chicken curry which was poor. Plenty of salty flavour but no lemongrass, galangal or chilli kick.
Service from both bar and kitchen staff was superb.
