We enjoyed the 'family room at the Cherry Tree Inn. There was only 2 of us, so we had a lovely large room with lounge area, ideal for sitting with a drink and watching TV after a day out and about in this lovely area of the country. There is lots to see nearby. It's a level walk into town, but you can have an equally good meal in the Inn. It felt a bit strange at first walking through the car park to your room, but this means that it is away from the pub and like your own little hideaway. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was just right. We booked this B&B after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. The owner seemed pleased when I told him of the reviews when I made the booking.

We (my wife and grown up daughter & I) booked a weekend at the Cherry Tree Inn Woodbridge to visit my mother. We found good reviews on Trip Advisor and so booked immediately via the phone. The accommodation is in a recently converted detached barn at the back of the car park. There are three en-suite rooms. The Family room was unavailable and so we booked the Regatta room.
The room is named after Adnams delightful light summer beer it is a light airy room which is normally set as a twin bedded room and is designed with accessibility in mind.

The extra wide door allows easy access for wheel chairs and the spacious en-suite is fitted with support rails and lift bar.
However the bathing facilities would be unsuitable for a wheel chair user. What they need is a bath board (which they may provide) so the wheel chair user could transfer from chair to bath to use the shower facilities. (So says the Occupational Therapist of the family!)

Light oak laminate flooring compliments the solid oak furniture providing a clean, comfortable refreshing room.
We were told that we could have a 'put you up' bed added to the twin bed room as there was going to be three of us on this visit.
We were also informed that we could arrive about 11.30 a.m. which is early for a check in time.
Normally they only book the room for a two night stay at the weekend however they said we could just stay one night.
In the room there was a walk in cupboard with plenty of storage space. There was a lovely seating area outside which was for the exclusive use of guests and the room faced south so in the morning the sun came streaming through the window. (Sun is not guaranteed on every visit.)
The Inn served good pub food and delicious real ale. (Adnams & other guest beers). It also provided board and card games.
All of us commented on how comfortable the beds were even the ‘put you up’.
The staff are relaxed and friendly.
Other facilities include:
Tea, coffee and chocolate. Full English breakfast. Mini fridge with still and carbonated water and fresh milk. Biscuits. Bottle opener. Customer controlled central heating. Desk, lamp and chair. Smoke detectors. Easy chair. There was free Wi Fi. Two 2Mbit Broadband access points. AM/FM Radio/CD Player with alarm. Direct dial, hands free, digital telephone. Flat Screen Colour Television/DVD and VCR. Player/Free to View Satellite. Umbrella. Hairdryer. Iron and ironing board available upon request

En-suite Facilities. Toilet. Bath. Power Shower. Heated towel rail.
The Breakfast was served in the pub and was very good with home cooked and locally sourced food.
All in all a great find and we would use the facilities again.

So glad we found this place. Having arranged to visit some of our friends who live in woodbridge, we decided to stay in a local hotel and consulted the internet. Finding trip adviser was usefull, but a little disheartening as both the town center hotels listed did not fare to well.
Anyway, having spoken to our friends about the problem, they recomended the Cherry Tree as a good pub/restaurant, and advised we look into there accommodation, so glad we did.
The room we had was in a barn conversion at the back of the property and was exactly as described. It was very clean and modern, with wonderful ensuite, and the service was also good.
At £85.00 for a 4 star double room and a quality cooked breakfast, we where very pleased indeed.
To top it off, the local beer was excellent, we will definatly be coming back!
