Food good, especially the beef cheeks. Service excellent. Reasonably priced. Would definitely return.

We had heard good things about this place from friends and went in with high expectations - we were not disappointed in the least! The restaurant was very accommodating for our toddler daughter and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing, simply amazing. For an entree, I had the baby calamari with a sweet sauce; the calamari were cooked perfectly and the sauce was a tasty complement to the salty fish. My husband had the pumpkin bruschetta and couldn't stop raving about it - he said it was the perfect mix of savoury with a hint of sweet. For mains, I had the Asian Spiced Peking Duck whilst my husband had the special of Duck a l'Orange. We could not stop raving about the flavours and the tenderness of the duck! Truly spectacular meals! The Peking Duck was quite a large portion size (but oh so good!) so just beware when ordering that unless you are famished, you will probably struggle to finish it!

Overall, we could not have been more pleased with the service and our meals at Salt n Pepper. We have discovered a new favourite restaurant in Darwin. The prices are a bit high, but not unreasonably so, and honestly, you get what you pay for. We were more than happy to pay every cent on our bill as we felt the food truly warranted those prices. We also loved that they were so welcoming to our one year old and did not make us feel as though we were inconveniencing others by bringing our toddler out at dinner time. We will definitely be heading back to Salt n Pepper and cannot recommend it highly enough!

I have been to this restaurant a few times and loved it every time! The atmosphere is relaxing and cosy, and the food is always fantastic!!

The best bit is that it is close to home! :)

Have been here a few times and have noticed the menu consistently tries a bit too hard to make weird concoctions with random ingredients. Can appreciate that it is some people's taste to have these types of dishes though.
The restaurant is small in area so they cannot fit many people in it. It is important to book or chances are you won't get in as there are not many other restaurants in Palmerston so they get a fair few people.
The staff are nice but I didn't like how the chefs weren't flexible enough to alter meals for patrons own likings. A lot of things on the menu seem to have similar flavours and although theres a number of things on the menu there's not that much variety.
Probably is one of the finer dining restaurants in darwin. But I would recommend checking the menu online first to make sure you'd like to eat something before you get there.
Warning: a tad pricey on some items.

Again; I can appreciate why this restaurant is certain people's cup of tea but it is certainly not mine and again; check before you go.

I have visited this restaurant quite a number of times with both friends and family. Whilst it is in rather an unappealing area fronting the main road into the suburb of Fairway Waters, it s atmosphere, service and menu choice puts the location well into the background. Food is varied and excellent, good service and somewhat a hidden gem for locals in the area. Thoroughly recommend as the best restaurant in Palmerston.
